Join us to create this retro, nostalgic, and trendy hexagon cardigan- designed & taught by Callie Zuniga. This beginner level project uses granny stitches and geometric shaping to make a fun cardigan - Once you have the first few rows down, it's all repetition!

Materials: This project uses a substantial amount of yarn, the amount of yarn needed varies based on sizing and desired length. We will have yarn set aside for this project or we can assist you in finding a good substitute yarn! You can bring any yarn from sport- aran weight yarn (fine, #2- Worsted #4) from your stash. The lighter the yarn weight, the better the drape on your cardigan. You can choose MANY colors OR stick with just ONE, the choice is up to you, this is a very customizable pattern.

Callie used approximately 1800 yards of an Aran (Worsted, #4) yarn when she made a size L that went to her waistline. See Yardage Estimates Below.

Depending on what size yarn you use, choose the according hook size:

Sport Weight (Fine, #2) - US I/9 (5.0mm)

DK Weight (Light Worsted, #3) - US J/10 (6.0mm)

Aran Weight (Worsted, #4) - US K/10.5 (6.5mm)

Yardage Estimates For Waist-Length Cardigan:

M ~1600

L ~1800

XL ~2000

2X ~2200

3X ~2400
