Top Down Stranded Colorwork Sweater
Advanced beginner or intermediate knitting skills
This fun, 4-part class will take you through all the steps to knit a stranded colorwork sweater from the top down. We will meet once a month with homework between each meeting. By the end, you will have a completed sweater! A link to a list of sweater patterns suggested is below, but if there is a specific top down sweater you are particularly interested in making, please contact us.
4 - 2.5-hour classes (once per month) plus a 30-minute Zoom follow up
Class 1- Oct 14, 6 to 8:30pm: We will have a FUN Friday choosing yarn and colors, picking a size, gauge swatches, and knitting the yoke. We will have snacks provided!!
Class 2 - Nov 19,1-3:30pm : Separating body and sleeves, checking fit, knitting body
Class 3 - Dec 10, 1-3:30pm : Sleeves
Class 4 - Jan 14, 1-3:30pm : Finishing details, q and a, next steps
