Introduction to Tunisian Crochet with Michelle

Learn the basics of Tunisian crochet, a technique that blends some aspects of knitting with crochet that results in beautifully textured and dense fabrics. In this class you will learn some basic Tunisian stitches and stitch combinations, and how to incorporate simple color work to create eye catching patterns. You will go home with a beginner level pattern and all the skills needed to create some cozy winter weather accessories - a scarf, a cowl, and a wrap!
Required skills: Basic crochet skills - how to hold the hook and yarn, yarn over, make chains
Materials: 8mm Tunisian crochet hook and short cord (available for purchase at Lula Faye Fiber). Sample yarn for learning will be provided.
